Dear Undergraduates:

I am excited about serving as Director of Undergraduate Studies for the next two academic years (2009-2011). Please feel free to visit me to discuss any issues dealing with your studies during my office hours. You may also meet with me at a time that is convenient for both of us if you cannot make my office hours.

I know how important your undergraduate years are for you. My own undergraduate study in music at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, remains as one of the most powerful experiences and set of memories in my whole life. It was the basis for what I eventually did with my life. It will be likewise for all of you.

I also hope we can work together on some special projects and events, and I look forward to meeting you and helping in any way I can.
